As a florist based in Whakatane / Eastern Bay of Plenty region, I enjoy producing floral work for weddings and special occasions.
I began my career in Whakatane. I was privileged to receive my initial training with Mary Evetts whose innovative and creative approach to floristry gave me a wide experience with a range of styles – traditional or contemporary, with the original touches that set my arrangements apart.
The Mary Evett's training put me ahead of my time, especially in my use of New Zealand native flora.
I then became a florist in Frankton and Hamilton City shops, I further developed my ideas, producing floral work for all occasions.
Life Long Passion
Establishing Bespoke Flowers gave me even greater freedom to express the wiIls and ideas of my clients. I am delighted to use the freshest of each season’s offerings, the recipient’s favourite colours combined with my creativity to produce all individual floral requirements for weddings and events.
As an experienced and award-winning chrysanthemum grower and passionate gardener, from time to time I use flowers and foliage from my own garden to go beyond what is available in the markets, adding a special touch of originality.
